No one said that the MapaWall wooden world maps should be installed on a light colored background. One client, who obviously agreed on that had, sent some photo's of the Rosewood model with country borders. And wow!! These photo's are a very good example of how a different colored background can give your wooden world map a really nice upgrade. As you can see on the photo's our clients has used a bright riviera blue paint so the red brownish Rosewood stands out perfectly from the wall. And not only that. In this case you can say the blue paint also represents the color of the sea. In any way these two colors really are a good match. And to finalize the whole and match it with the rest of the interior the client also added some bright colored pillows to it. To be honest, we had never come up with a color combination like this one. But you have to agree....the Rosewood in combination with riviera blue en bright pink are a perfect fit in this case.
On the smaller thumbnails as shown above you can see some parts of the world map from close. On these photo's you can clearly see the wood grain that is typical for Rosewood. Next to that the details of the map are also clearly visible. Both contours and country borders. For these MapaWall wooden world maps the most advanced laser technology of the world is used. With this technique the country borders are engraved with an accuracy of 0.001 inch. Together with the invisible magnetic layer underneath the wood, it is this what makes the MapaWall wooden world maps really special. Because of these two characteristics this world map is not only a must have wall decoration. The map is also ideal to pinpoint all the places you have ever been to!
