The fun thing about a world map is that it attracts people from around the world. Therefor a perfect item to include in any type of interior around the world. Especially when the map is made from the finest wood types so it can hang in almost every room. In march one client from Iceland ordered one of the MapaWall’s wooden world map made from Oakwood. The pictures in this post show how good this particular model fits in this type of interior. A good example of how a wooden world map made from Oak can be combined with a very modern en light colored space. In this case the world map is oiled so its relatively dark. And therefore it gives it just enough color to make a certain contrast with the lighter items in the room. On this bigger picture as shown above it is clear how some dark items in a room, as the wooden map, can make the space special. The client did an excellent job in combining different light colors as light green and pink with the freshness of the white colors. You have to agree that this room is a very good example of how a modern Scandinavian styled room should look like.

The other smaller photo’s show how this Oak map looks from different angles. From some angles you see the small pinpoint magnets lighting op from the Oak surface. Because this client choose the MapaWall Oak model included with the engraved country borders, it is the perfect map to mark your favorite places using these small Neodynium magnets. As you can see the pinpoints are very subtile and not too overwhelming when looking at the world map. Just clear enough to remind yourself of the places you still want to go to or spots around the globe you’ve already been.
